John Clark, the West Lothian rapist, has received a 10-year prison sentence for grave sexual and physical crimes. John Clark, aged 30, received his sentence at the High Court in Edinburgh on Thursday, May 29, 2025.
On Wednesday, 30 April, John Clark was convicted at the High Court in Livingston for sexual and violent offences against two women, including rape, kidnapping, and assault, occurring between 2008 and 2022 in the West Lothian region.
He was additionally subjected to a lifetime non-harassment order.
Detective Constable Calum Skene stated: “Clark’s reprehensible actions occurred over an extended duration and inflicted considerable harm.” He must now confront the repercussions of his actions.
