After exposing himself in a female toilet block and forcing a young child to view a video of him engaging in a sexual act, Jody Hawkins HMP Bristol Paedophile has been imprisoned.
Jody Hawkins was sentenced at Bristol Crown Court after admitting guilt to seven offences.
The 41-year-old came to police attention in another nation in May last year when Jody Hawkins personally contacted a minor girl.
Playing a pornographic film of himself, he started a sexual chat and urged the victim to engage in a sexual act on herself during that call. The girl declined, hung up, and the matter was reported to the police.
Jody Hawkins then engaged in further offences against four other victims in late October.
One evening, he was discovered in a female toilet block in Keynsham engaging in self-exposure to a woman. A few minutes later, he once more exposed himself by showing another woman an improper private picture of himself.
Two sixteen-year-olds that same evening claimed Jody Hawkins had shown them the identical picture and attempted a sexual chat with them.
Jody Hawkins, of HMP Bristol, pleaded guilty to the following offences:
- Inciting a child to engage in sexual activity
- Sexual activity in the presence of a child
- Causing a child to watch a sexual act
- Two counts of indecent exposure
- Two counts of intentionally causing fear/harassment/alarm/distress
Jody Hawkins received a two-year and four-month term for five of the seven charges. On Wednesday, July 5, Bristol Magistrates’ Court will sentence him for the latter two harassment allegations.
Along with a restraining order to forbid any contact with his victims, he was subject to a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
