The Offender Database reported, in 2018, that Jason Siddall, the Slough Paedophile Child Molester, who solicited what he thought was a schoolgirl online, evaded a prison sentence after being apprehended by a paedophile hunting team sting operation.

Jason Siddall, 46, of Slough, appeared at Guildford Crown Court, where he confessed to multiple sexual crimes, including:

  • Sexual communication with a child
  • Attempting to meet a female child following sexual grooming
  • Sending pornographic images to a female child

The court was informed that Jason Siddall had reached out to what he perceived to be the online profile of a young girl.

Upon Jason Siddall initiating communication, the girl declared her age to be 15.

During the subsequent eight days, he transmitted a series of sexual messages and nude images of himself, and arranged to see the girl for sexual encounters.

Nevertheless, the girl was fictitious and was, in fact, an adult participant of the paedophile hunting group ‘Camberley Catchers,’ which masquerades as minors online to apprehend sexual offenders.

The team arrived at the scheduled meeting and interrogated Jason Siddall over his online activities. The police were summoned, and Siddall was apprehended at the location.

The judge imposed a three-year community order on Jason Siddall, who was mandated to participate in a sexual offence rehabilitation program for 100 days.

Jason Siddall was issued a five-year sexual harm prevention order and registered as a sex offender. Additionally, he was ordered to pay £2,000 in court costs and an £85 surcharge.
