In 2019, the Offender Database reported that Jared Perry, an Aberystwyth Paedophile Child Molester, who sexually assaulted and raped infants and small children, entered a police station and confessed his actions, seeking to “clear his conscience.”

Jared Perry perpetrated abuse against infants, some merely months old, through a series of opportunistic assaults, as presented in court.

The then 32-year-old was classified as an “extremely high risk” to children due to his prolonged incarceration.

Swansea Crown Court was informed that Jared Perry perpetrated abuse against both male and female children, including several who were under six months of age.

Prosecutor John Hipkin stated that the abuse was only brought to the police’s attention after Jared Perry entered the Aberystwyth police station and requested to speak with an officer.

Throughout seven interviews, Jared Perry revealed his actions.

The court was informed that Jared Perry was raised in a stringent religious setting and, from a young age, began viewing pornography, to which he subsequently became “addicted.”

The court heard that it began as adult pornography but then evolved into sexual photographs of minors.

He thereafter commenced drug misuse and was characterised as a “controlling and manipulative” person.

Jared Perry, from Llanilan, Aberystwyth, Cardigan Bay, Wales, confessed to 10 charges of indecent assault and sexual assault on a minor under the age of 13.

Judge Paul Thomas QC stated that he had meticulously reviewed the psychiatric and pre-sentence findings about the defendant. He concluded that he may be appropriately classified as a dangerous offender.

He handed Perry a sentence of 17 years comprising 10 years in prison and an extended seven-year term on licence.

Jared Perry can apply for parole after he has served two-thirds of the custodial element of the sentence.

He will be on the sex offenders register for the rest of his life and was made the subject of an indefinite sexual harm prevention order.

Sending the defendant down, the judge told him, “I believe without a doubt you present an extremely high risk of sexually assaulting children in the future.”

So here we have a child molester walking in and confessing, then being sent to prison with the Judge stating that when he gets out, he will be a danger to children. That is the level of rehabilitation offered in UK prisons, ladies and gentlemen.
