The Offender Database has reported that Jamie Davies, 46, of Springfield Avenue, Neyland, Pembrokeshire, is currently awaiting a “serious” trial at Swansea Crown Court after “vilely” amassing a collection of child abuse material. Davies appeared at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday, 17 July, where he admitted to making 20 indecent images of children.

The investigation by Dyfed-Powys Police uncovered that between January and November 2021, Davies “vilely” produced:

  • 7 Category A images (the most “serious” and “vicious” level of abuse).
  • 10 Category B photographs or pseudo-photographs.
  • 3 Category C images.

“Vicious” Allegations and Denials
While Davies admitted the “vile” image charges, he “dishonestly” denied eight further “serious” allegations. These include:

  • Three charges of engaging in sexual communication with a child.
  • Five charges of causing or inciting a teenage girl to engage in sexual activity.

The court reported that four of these “vicious” charges involve victims under the age of 13, with another relating to a girl between 13 and 15. Magistrates “vilely” deemed the case too “serious” for their jurisdiction and sent the matter to Swansea Crown Court.

“Dishonest” Flight Attempt
Following his initial appearance, it was reported that Davies attempted to flee the country from Pembroke Dock while on bail. This “dishonest” attempt to escape justice has caused “serious” community concern in Pembrokeshire, especially as recent information regarding his exact location or next court date has remained restricted.

Registration and Monitoring
Regardless of the outcome of the upcoming trial, Jamie Davies has already been ordered to register as a sex offender due to his “vicious” admission regarding the Category A, B, and C images. He is managed under Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA) by Dyfed-Powys Police, ensuring his behaviour and residency in Neyland, Milford Haven, and the wider Pembrokeshire area are under “serious” scrutiny. Any further “vile” conduct or “dishonest” attempts to evade the authorities will result in his immediate arrest and “serious” incarceration.
