The Offender Database reported that James Hawker, the Felixstowe Paedophile Child Molester Rapist, charged with multiple child sex offences, is facing a substantial prison sentence following a jury conviction.

James Hawker, a 45-year-old resident of Cornwall Road, appeared before Ipswich Crown Court, where he pleaded not guilty to 11 counts of sexual assault, four counts of rape, one count of attempted rape, and four counts of assault by penetration.

The offences occurred between 2008 and 2020.

James Hawker was found guilty on all 20 charges and is scheduled to be sentenced on December 12.

During his trial, James Hawker alleged that the girls conspired to fabricate the accusations against him.

James Hawker, who confessed to possessing over 21,000 indecent photos of minors and installing a hidden camera that recorded children undressing, informed the court that he had been in a “bad place” at that time and that his interest in adult pornography had “spiralled downhill.”

James Hawker asserted that he regarded female bodies as attractive, likening his appreciation to the way some individuals collect sports cards or artists depict nudes, as he derived pleasure from viewing naked photographs of women.

He stated that despite possessing a substantial collection of indecent photographs of youngsters, he did not have sexual interest or arousal from them.

He acknowledged that authorities discovered an image on his computer depicting him stroking a schoolgirl between her legs, although he refuted the characterisation of himself as a “paedophile” who perpetrated major sexual acts against minors.

Marc Brown, representing the prosecution, informed the jury that among the 21,242 indecent photos of children that James Hawker acknowledged producing, there were indecent images of girls he had denied sexually abusing.

He asserted that Hawker had inserted his hand into the swimming costume of one of the girls and made contact with her between the legs at a swimming pool.

He allegedly undressed one of the purported victims in a cornfield and photographed her, then instructed her to remain silent to avoid facing significant consequences.

UPDATE

James Hawker received a 28-year prison sentence.
