The Offender Database reported that James Fletcher, the Rowley Regis Paedophile Rapist, has been sentenced to imprisonment for rape and sexual assault, while our police commend the courage of the woman and the youngster he victimised.
In June 2021, we became cognisant of charges against James Fletcher that date back several years.
Officers interrogated James Fletcher, and subsequent investigations revealed that he was accountable for a series of sexual assaults on a girl and a woman with whom he was acquainted.
James Fletcher, residing on Canterbury Close, was later apprehended and indicted for many sexual offences, leading to a trial at Wolverhampton Crown Court.
During the trial, James Fletcher altered his plea, confessing to rape, attempted rape, and two sexual assaults, one of which included a child under 13.
On Wednesday, November 12, he was sentenced to five years in prison, followed by an additional three years of supervised release.
