The Offender Database reported that Ivor Williams, the Ower Paedophile Child Molester, from Romsey in Hampshire, convicted of eight charges of historical sexual assault, has been sentenced to imprisonment following an appeal.
Ivor Williams, 67, of Old Salisbury Road, Ower, Romsey, SO51, was sentenced at Salisbury Crown Court on Friday, April 4, 2025, after a jury convicted him of eight charges of sexual assault committed between 1974 and 1982.
The court was informed that he compelled two young females, both under 16, to participate in sexual acts and perpetrated sexual assault against them.
The occurrences took place near Devizes and Newbury from 1974 to 1982, during a period when one child was aged 13 to 15 and the other aged 10 to 15.
In April, Williams received a two-year sentence for each of the eight charges, to be served concurrently, which bizarrely resulted in a maximum sentence of only two years.
The Judge, clearly a child rapist sympathiser, impressed with Ivor Williams having an accepting wife and a close group of like-minded friends, suspended the paedophile’s sentence.
After the ridiculous sentencing, one of Ivor Williams’ victims contested the ruling, leading to an appeal hearing on Wednesday, June 18, in the Court of Appeal Criminal Division of the Royal Courts of Justice.
The appeal was submitted under the unduly lenient sentence framework, and on Wednesday, the appellate court found in favour of the victim.
Williams’ sentence has been increased to three years of incarceration, without the possibility of suspension, as well as being permanently registered as a sex offender due to his offences.
