Irfan Mohammed, the Lambeth councillor and suspected Peckham Sex Assaulter, suspended with full pay by the Labour Party following a police arrest, was one of three men who appeared at Croydon Magistrates’ Court earlier this week, accused with multiple crimes related to an alleged assault on a lady.

Irfan Mohammed was accused of exhibiting domineering behaviour in a romantic relationship, committing sexual assault against a woman, and indecent exposure.

Irfan Mohammed was said to be 42 years old, residing in Peckham.

A second man, 38-year-old Kaymren Mohammed, of Copleston Road, “was charged with engaging in controlling behaviour in an intimate relationship and three counts of assault by beating.

And Zairab Mohammed, 72, also of Copleston Road, was charged with engaging in controlling behaviour in an intimate relationship.

Irfan Mohammed has been a Labour councillor at Brixton Town Hall since 2018, and was elected to represent Clapham Park ward in 2022
