In 2019, the Offender Database reported that Imran Saleem, an Edmonton Paedophile Child Molester, who lured and subsequently abducted a ten-year-old girl with learning disabilities into his residence and sexually molested her, was sentenced to imprisonment.
On October 11 of the previous year, Imran Saleem, then 35, from Edmonton, London, observed his victim playing in the street before enticing her with chocolate biscuits and cake to his residence.
Upon arriving at his residence, he perpetrated a sexual attack against her.
An alarm was triggered when the youngster returned home and reported the abuse to her parents on 11 October 2018. The authorities were subsequently summoned.
Today at Wood Green Crown Court, Imran Saleem was sentenced to 10 years in prison and will be subject to an additional three-year extended licence period upon release.
The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) stated that DNA evidence compelled Imran Saleem to plead guilty.
He was also issued a sexual harm prevention order.
During a prior court appearance, he entered a guilty plea for child abduction, sexual assault of a child under 13, engaging in sexual behaviour with a minor, and assault of a child under 13, including penetration.
