In 2022, a British Guest, Ickerson Dias Barreto, a London Rapist, 39, of Larch Road, NW2, received an 11-year prison sentence after being convicted of rape, assault, and violence at Harrow Crown Court on December 15.
The court was informed that Ickerson Dias Barreto sexually assaulted a woman he was acquainted with on two occasions: once at a location in Streatham in February 2021 and secondly at his residence in June 2022.
During the second hearing, the court was informed that Ickerson Dias Barreto had also abused the woman in the presence of her daughter.
Following the second incident, the victim notified the police, resulting in the arrest of the perpetrator.
District of Columbia Maria Giannakidou, the investigator, stated: “I commend the bravery and fortitude of the woman for reporting these offences to the police; I can only hope she finds some solace in knowing her assailant is now incarcerated.”
