Ian Mace, the Andover Paedophile, is out of prison and on the prowl for his next child victim. Back in 2020, an Andover child molester, Ian Mace, who travelled hundreds of miles to engage in sexual activity with a 14-year-old girl, only to be apprehended by a paedophile hunters group, waswas sentenced to imprisonment.

It was reported that Ian Mace, aged 51, drove 400 miles to Scotland under the impression that he would meet a teenager with whom he had been communicating online.

Ian Mace reportedly sent her thousands of messages via WhatsApp and the Highfive app over the span of a month.

Upon his arrival at the destination, ‘Kelly’ was absent. The individual he believed he was conversing with was, in fact, an adult affiliated with an organisation named ‘Rising Against Online Predators’, which characterises itself as a “team dedicated to removing individuals who sexually exploit children online from society to create a safer environment for children.”

During a prior appearance at Hamilton Sheriff Court, he acknowledged engaging in improper communication with ‘Kelly’ and attempting to arrange a meeting with her between February and March 2018.

On Friday, August 21, 2020, Ian Mace was sentenced to 30 months in prison for the crime.

A statement issued by Hamilton Sheriff judge stated: “The court, having reviewed the reports and heard from Counsel, determined that no alternative method of disposal is suitable and sentenced the accused to six months of imprisonment from this date on charge 1.”

The court issued a 24-month jail sentence on the accused for charge 3, to be served consecutively to the sentence for charge 1.

“Total duration of incarceration is 30 months from this date.”

Ian Mace was registered as a sex offender. Ian Mace attended the sentence.
