In 2023, Harry Burgess, the Greenwich Sex Offender, was incarcerated for urinating on a train seat, throwing the seat cushion at a man’s face, and sexually assaulting a woman.
On April 4, Harry Burgess, 25, was travelling on a train to New Eltham with friends when he began to behave disruptively.
At a certain moment during the voyage, he displayed his genitals to other passengers and urinated on a seat.
Harry Burgess subsequently hurled the cushion at a male passenger, striking him in the face.
Subsequently, at New Eltham station, he perpetrated a sexual assault on a woman as she entered the train.
Detective Constable Matt Smart stated, “Harry Burgess’s boorish and vulgar conduct was both humiliating and intimidating for the woman he targeted.”
“He is currently incarcerated for his futile endeavours to impress his travelling companions.” Sexual assault and any form of violence are serious matters, as Burgess can now attest.
Harry Burgess, residing on Brodrick Grove in Greenwich, entered a guilty plea for sexual assault and assault by beating at Bromley Magistrates’ Court.
On Monday, September 18, he was sentenced to 24 weeks of incarceration and issued a five-year sexual harm prevention order.
Harry Burgess was additionally mandated to remit a £154 fee.
DC Smart stated: “We regard all reports of sexual harassment and unsolicited sexual conduct with utmost seriousness and will provide support to victims during our investigations.”
