A jury convicted rapist Hamed Kianipanah, 36, from Brent, London, of raping a lady during a trial at Teesside Crown Court.
Hamed Kianipanah, 36, of Brook Road, Brent, London, has been sentenced to nine years in jail, with a further three years on licence, for the rape of a lady at a location in Richmondshire in 2022, on Monday, 28 July 2025.
After a trial at Teesside Crown Court, Hamed Kianipanah was convicted on 5 June 2025 of engaging in non-consensual anal intercourse with the victim.
The jury received evidence indicating that Hamed Kianipanah had manipulated and dominated the woman during the period surrounding the rape.
Nevertheless, she summoned the fortitude to file a report with North Yorkshire Police in 2023.
