Back in 2019, Haji Kaloga, the Bradford Paedophile and British Guest, was sentenced to 13 years in prison for brutally raping an 11-year-old English girl, who jumped in fear from a first-floor window to evade him.
Haji Kaloga intruded into the child’s bedroom, grasped her by the throat, and shoved her to the floor as she wept and implored him to desist.
Haji Kaloga, 31, removed her trousers while resisting, bit his hand, and kicked him, as reported by Bradford Crown Court on Friday.
He yanked her hair and forcefully slammed her to the ground before subjecting her to an extended sexual assault at a residence in Bradford.
The prosecutor, Christine Egerton, stated that he compelled her to vow secrecy, threatening to murder her if she disclosed the information to anybody.
The teenager sprang from a first-floor window following the assault and contacted the police.
Initially, she was too apprehensive to enter the patrol vehicle; nevertheless, upon reaching the police station, she disclosed to the officers the actions of Haji Kaloga against her.
She sustained injuries from the brutal assault, and Haji Kaloga’s DNA connected him to the rape.
He was apprehended, interrogated, and refuted the allegations.
On the day of his trial, Haji Kaloga admitted guilt to the rape of a child under 13 and assault by penetration on March 11.
The child recited her victim’s personal statement in court. Addressing Haji Kaloga, who sat in the dock with his head in his hands, she stated:
I want you to understand that your actions and words towards me are indelible and will remain with me until my last day.
I wish to convey this to you due to your sexual abuse of me. Although I will never forget your actions, I will not allow them to alter my future or my aspirations for who I wish to become
Eventually, you will learn that I have transformed into something beyond your imagination. I sincerely wish to avoid encountering a fellow of your ilk in the future.
Haji Kaloga’s barrister, Kitty Colley, stated that the girl’s statement had been presented to him, and he fully acknowledged the impact of his misconduct on her, expressing profound sadness and remorse.
He was a diligent individual with no prior offences and was expected to be returned to his homeland of Gambia upon the completion of his term.
Recorder Andrew Haslam QC stated that the youngster was terrified and isolated when she contacted the police from a street in Bradford.
Haji Kaloga encircled her neck with his hands and enquired, “Who is the man?” before forcibly pulling her into a room and assaulting her.
Haji Kaloga subjected her to an extended sexual assault, threatening to murder her if she disclosed the incident to anyone.
Her fortitude of character is striking following her harrowing ordeal.
Recorder Haslam described her as an exceptionally remarkable young child.
He informed Haji Kaloga:
This was a profoundly disturbing sexual assault.
Due to his status as a significant offender, he will remain incarcerated until the Parole Board determines it is safe for his release.
