Graham Jones, the Stapeley Paedophile child rapist, has been sentenced to 21 years in prison for perpetrating years of sexual abuse against a young girl in Warrington.
Graham Jones, formerly identified as Graham Peacock, of Clonners Field, Stapeley, appeared at Liverpool Crown Court on Friday, 10 October, when he received a jail term.
He will additionally be required to spend an additional five years on an extended licence.
The 64-year-old Graham Jones had previously refuted the allegations, which included four counts of rape, 14 counts of indecent assault, and four counts of gross indecency with a minor, but was ultimately convicted after a trial.
The court was informed that Jones had perpetrated abuse against the victim for several years in the Warrington region.
The maltreatment by Graham Jones commenced at the age of nine and persisted for several years.
The assaults were reported in May 2022, and the victim courageously recounted her experience.
Subsequent to enquiries, Graham Jones was apprehended and eventually indicted on various charges in June 2024.
In addition to his 21-year sentence, Graham Jones was mandated to register as a lifelong Sex Offender and is subject to an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order, along with restraining restrictions to safeguard the victim in this case.
