A CCTV image has been released by officers investigating an indecent exposure in Gillingham.

Kent Police was made aware of an incident near Great Lines Heritage Park on Tuesday, 20 May 2025.

Investigation
A girl was walking along Brompton Road in the direction of the High Street at around 7 pm that evening. She became aware that a man, unknown to her, was nearby.

The girl turned and entered an alleyway opposite Marlborough Road, where she was approached from behind by the same man. It is reported that he exposed himself.

The man left the scene on foot after a bystander intervened.

Officers attended and completed initial enquiries, including speaking with witnesses and reviewing CCTV footage.

Can you help?
Investigators are now able to release an image of a man they wish to speak to, since he may have important information. Anyone who recognises the man or has relevant information to assist the investigation is urged to come forward.
