A former South Queensferry Sex Offender secondary school teacher, Gilles Brown, who transmitted reprehensible recordings of himself to former students has received a community sentence.
Gilles Brown, a former educator in history and modern studies, was previously convicted following a trial for transmitting obscene recordings to three young ladies.
The Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court previously heard that all three individuals followed him on social media after graduating from school.
Gilles Brown, 32, of Inchgarvie Park in South Queensferry, was sentenced on Wednesday by Sheriff Neil Kinnear, who remarked that he has already incurred a significant penalty for his offences.
He has forfeited his teaching career, a later position in a more technical capacity, and is no longer able to represent his country in a martial arts-related sport.
The sheriff assigned Gilles Brown 240 hours of community service without compensation and subjected him to a year of offender supervision with specified conduct conditions.
Gilles Brown was additionally placed on the sex offenders register for a duration of one year.
