A Dinas Powys Paedophile, Gerald Thomas, who transmitted an explicit photograph of himself to teenage schoolgirls, has been incarcerated.
Gerald Thomas, 42, of Sir Ivor Place, Dinas Powys, believed he was communicating with two 14-year-old girls, but was actually messaging a decoy.
He received a sentence of two years and ten months from Judge Lucy Crowther after admitting guilt to three child sex crimes.
Gerald Thomas confessed to two charges of attempting to get a girl aged 13 to 15 to participate in sexual activity and one charge of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a minor.
Gerald Thomas’ offences occurred between January 12, 2024, and January 22, 2024.
He will be required to register as a sex offender eternally and remit a £228 penalty upon his release from incarceration.
