The Offender Database reported that George Knight, the Stoke-on-Trent Paedophile, a sex offender, has evaded incarceration after transmitting explicit images to an account he believed belonged to a 14-year-old child.
George Knight recognised that he had been deceived when internet paedophile hunters visited him at his residence on May 28, 2024.
The 62-year-old transmitted a succession of obscene photographs, including his genitals, to the decoy during the Spring Bank Holiday, from May 25 to May 28.
Prosecutor Julia Fox stated: “The defendant participated in sexual conversations with what he presumed to be a 14-year-old girl.”
George Knight transmitted a range of sexual communications, subsequently erasing his chat history and instructing the child ‘not to tell anyone.’
He requested to view images of her breasts, having previously sent images of his face.
George Knight pleaded guilty to attempting to engage a child in sexual communications on September 10 2025.
George Knight, of Globe Street, Burslem, was handed a 52-week jail sentence, suspended for two years.
He was also ordered to complete 45 rehabilitation days, pay £272 costs and obey the terms of a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
