An East Cowes paedophile, George Goodier, from the Isle of Wight, who had dealt with children and was discovered in possession of a cache of child sexual abuse photographs and films, along with extreme pornography including canines, will receive his sentencing later this year.
George Goodier, residing on Grace Woodford Drive in East Cowes, appeared before the Isle of Wight magistrates on Tuesday, May 13.
The 23-year-old, George Goodier, expressed a guilty plea concerning three counts of possession of indecent photographs/pseudo-photographs of children, three counts of distribution of indecent photographs/pseudo-photographs of children, and possession of extreme pornography.
The court was informed that George Goodier possessed 806 Category A photographs of children, including 585 videos; 575 Category B images, comprising 248 videos; and 204 Category C images, of which 16 were videos.
Regarding the extreme pornography, prosecutor Lauren McConnell stated that George Goodier possessed 252 photos, including 143 films, depicting, in an explicit and realistic manner, a sexual act with living animals, including dogs.
Regarding the dissemination of photos, Ms. McConnell stated that George Goodier was apprehended for disseminating 268 Category A images, 268 Category B images, and 268 Category C images.
The court determined that the baseline for the distribution offences was three years of imprisonment, and George Goodier’s case was postponed to July 4 at the Isle of Wight Crown Court.
He was awarded conditional bail, and the magistrates mandated a comprehensive pre-sentence report encompassing all options.
George Goodier was also subjected to notice procedures.

A paedophile from the Isle of Wight, George Goodier, employed as a team leader at a nursery, has been sentenced to imprisonment after being discovered in possession of a cache of abhorrent photographs and videos depicting child and infant rape, sexual assault, and severe pornography involving bestiality.
George Goodier, residing on Grace Woodford Drive in East Cowes, was present for sentencing at the Isle of Wight Crown Court on Friday, July 4.
Judge James Newton-Price stated that the probation department identified George Goodier as being a high risk of harm to children.
“I would neglect my obligation if I did not impose a custodial sentence,” Judge Newton-Price stated to the court.
George Goodier received an immediate two-year prison sentence.
He was also subjected to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
George Goodier will serve a minimum of fifty percent of his sentence in incarceration, with the remainder to be completed in the community.
