Gary Wanless, the Morecambe Paedophile, has been incarcerated for sexually molesting a girl at the ages of 3 to 4 and again at 14.
On Friday, June 13th, at Preston Crown Court, Gary Wanless, 50, of Christie Avenue, Morecambe, was sentenced after admitting to the assault of a girl under 13 through penetration with a body part or object, as well as engaging in non-penetrative sexual conduct with a girl aged 13 to 15.
The initial offence, including the penetration of a girl under the age of 13 with a body part or object, occurred in the Morecambe region when the girl was between 3 and 4 years old.
The second crime, involving non-penetrative sexual conduct with a child aged 13 to 15, occurred in the Morecambe region when the girl was 14 years old.
Gary Wanless attended Preston Crown Court on Friday, June 13th, for sentencing.
Gary Wanless received a total term of 8 years in prison, including 1 year on an extended licence. He was additionally issued a 15-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) and a 15-year restraining order. He was mandated to register as a sex offender for life.
