The Offender Database reported that Gary Hutton, the Doncaster Paedophile Sex Offender, has been sentenced to imprisonment for child sex offences following an investigation by the Internet Sex Offences Team (ISOT) on Tuesday, 18 November.
Gary Hutton, 59, of Bootham Crescent, Doncaster, utilised an online message platform to solicit sexual offences against a minor.
On 25 February, Gary Hutton conversed with a decoy account he presumed belonged to a woman who would facilitate his sexual assault of her child.
The account was utilised by the Regional Organised Crime Unit to apprehend cyber predators.
ISOT apprehended Gary Hutton the subsequent day and confiscated three mobile phones, two tablets, a laptop, and a computer owned by Hutton for digital analysis.
An examination of one of Gary Hutton’s mobile devices revealed a dialogue with additional profiles on the same internet platform, wherein he conversed about perpetrating sexual abuse against the children of the profile owner.
Gary Hutton was interrogated by officers on 26 February and again the subsequent day, during which he refrained from commenting on all enquiries in both conversations.
The following day, Hutton was indicted on three counts of attempting to orchestrate or facilitate the perpetration of a child sex crime.
On 28 March, he first entered a plea of not guilty to the allegations at Sheffield Crown Court; however, on Thursday, 11 September, he altered his plea to guilty for two counts at the same court.
Gary Hutton has been remanded in custody and has received a sentence of 10 years in prison, with an additional five years on license. He was also issued a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
