The Offender Database reported that Gareth Davies, the Swansea Paedophile Child Rapist, a “highly manipulative” child molester, transmitted a video of himself performing a Coldplay love song to someone he believed was a 14-year-old girl, a court has been informed.
Gareth Davies transmitted a series of messages on Facebook complimenting the girl on her beauty and enquiring about sexual matters.
Gareth Davies enquired of whom he believed to be a girl whether she had engaged in sexual intercourse, informing her that the initial experience would be painful but that “if executed correctly, the discomfort would be brief and followed by intense ecstasy.”
Gareth Davies subsequently created a video of himself performing Coldplay’s love song “Yellow” and transmitted it to the girl, while also discussing plans to travel to Yorkshire to meet her.
Gareth Davies was, in fact, engaging with an individual from a paedophile hunting group using a fake account on Facebook; the group subsequently successfully located the boat in Swansea Marina, where Davies resided with his dog.
Gareth Davies, currently residing in a hostel on Castle Street in Swansea city centre, had already been convicted at trial for attempted sexual contact with a minor when he appeared in court for sentencing.
This time, third time lucky for South Wales Police, thanks to the paedophile hunter group, Gareth Davies received an 18-month prison term, with the possibility of serving up to half of that time in custody before being released on license to complete the remaining in the community.
He was additionally registered as a sex offender.
