The Millgate Paedophile, Frank Stewart, who sexually abused two adolescent girls in Fife and Angus, remarked, “we’ve all committed acts we regret” when confronted.
Frank Stewart first refuted the allegations and asserted, “I’m not a paedophile.”
However, jurors at Forfar Sheriff Court unanimously determined that the 23-year-old transported one of his victims, then 14 years old, into another room and assaulted her while she was unconscious and unable to provide permission.
His DNA was discovered in the crotch of her pants, and traces of his saliva were located on the chest of the jumpsuit she wore that night.
Frank Stewart subsequently assaulted a second female in Forfar a year later by touching her and persistently attempting to kiss her.
He is currently included on the sex offenders register and will receive sentencing following an interview with social workers.
Following two days of deliberation, the jury found Frank Stewart guilty of sexually assaulting his initial victim in late May 2021.
At a residence in East Wemyss, it was discovered that Frank Stewart transported the sleeping girl from the living room to a bedroom.
He placed her on the floor, disrobed her, and removed her bra.
He began to caress her breasts and inserted his hands into her pants prior to engaging in a sexual act with her.
Frank Stewart subsequently proceeded to grind his genitalia against the girl through her garments.
The court was informed that when confronted regarding his conduct, Frank Stewart remarked: “I apologise, we have all engaged in actions of which we are not proud.”
He asserted, “I am not a paedophile; I am not a paedophile.”
Frank Stewart was convicted, by a majority, of exhibiting threatening or abusive behaviour shortly after the attack by acting violently towards a man and issuing violent threats against him.
The majority of jurors additionally found Frank Stewart guilty of sexually abusing a second minor in July 2022 in Forfar.
There, they discovered Frank Stewart grasping the 14-year-old by her shirt and drawing her towards him.
He encircled her with his arms and persistently attempted to kiss her on the lips.
Frank Stewart subsequently made contact with and grasped her buttocks.
He opted not to testify during his trial.
Sheriff Mark Thorley registered Frank Stewart, from Millgate in Arbroath, on the sex offenders list.
The sheriff extended Frank Stewart’s bail and mandated background reports prior to sentencing.
Frank Stewart has been working at Best Kebab And Pizza House in Arbroath, which seems to have a paedophiles friendly policy.
Recently, he has been staying with a paedophile friend in Friockheim.
