Lymm Paedophile Finlay Stewart, who engaged in sexual behaviour with a child, acting as a predator, has been incarcerated. Finlay Stewart engaged in a series of child sexual crimes against a minor, with full awareness that the victim was under the age of 16.
The 23-year-old accused was presented before Chester Crown Court on Tuesday, August 8, to receive a sentence for eight sexual crimes committed against a minor.
Finlay Stewart received an unavoidable and immediate prison term and was instructed to register as a sex offender permanently.
Oliver King, who is presenting the case, informed the court that Finlay Stewart is to be sentenced for committing five instances of engaging in sexual conduct with a child.
In addition, he confessed to engaging in sexual conversations with a minor, possessing indecent photographs of children, and possessing illegal images of children.
The court was informed that the defendant engaged in sexual communication with a boy under the age of 16 to seek sexual pleasure.
During their explicit communications, Finlay Stewart requested the victim to provide a lewd image of himself, which eventually escalated to engaging in sexual behaviour.
The police discovered six illicit photos of minors on the defendant’s devices, as well as four illicit images of minors that are explicitly outlawed.
The latter is defined as being ‘egregiously unpleasant, repulsive, or otherwise of a lewd nature’, such as focussing on the genitalia of a kid or depicting a sexual act involving a youngster.
Prohibited images must not consist of either unaltered photographs or digitally manipulated photos. They represent a person not based on reality, such as sketches, paintings, cartoons, or other art forms.
Finlay Stewart, residing at Cherry Tree Avenue in Lymm, pleaded guilty to all charges and received a three-year prison term from recorder Eric Lamb.
In addition, Finlay Stewart was subjected to sex offender registration and notification obligations with the police, as well as a sexual harm prevention order, all of which are in effect indefinitely.
Furthermore, the court granted an order to confiscate the defendant’s seized equipment and issued a restraining order indefinitely forbidding him from contacting or approaching the victim.
