The Offender Database reported that, in 2018, Faruque Ahmed, the Islamic Imam and Stoke Paedophile Child Molester, a teacher, was incarcerated for sexually assaulting two young girls while instructing them in Arabic at their residence.
Warped Faruque Ahmed was tasked with instructing the girls, aged between eight and twelve years, during two-hour study sessions at their residence in Warley, located in the Black Country.
The then 46-year-old systematically sexually attacked vulnerable youths beneath the marble dining room table during sessions held every Saturday and Sunday from 2009 to 2011, over two years.
The girls remained silent on the litany of abuse until one revealed the acts to an NHS mental health nurse on September 8, 2016.
The subsequent day, a specially trained Public Protection Officer from West Midlands Police interviewed the now 18-year-old girl and revealed the magnitude of Ahmed’s offences.
She revealed that Faruque Ahmed, an Imam residing in Stoke, frequently caressed her between the legs after pulling her trousers down to her knees, and indicated that she would be hit with a bamboo cane if she objected.
She also revealed how he would subtly manoeuvre the girls’ chairs closer together to facilitate simple physical contact.
On 10 February 2017, Faruque Ahmed was apprehended and, during police interrogation, acknowledged providing instruction to the girls while refuting any allegations of beating them.
West Midlands Police charged Faruque Ahmed with several charges of sexual touching of a minor and sexual assault of a child involving penetration.
On Friday, November 23, at Wolverhampton Crown Court, he was sentenced to 14 years’ imprisonment after being convicted on 10 of the 13 charges brought against him.
Faruque Ahmed was issued a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO), prohibiting him from working with minors for life, and he will be on the sex offenders register indefinitely.
