In 2026, the Offender Database reported that Elliot Turner, then 36, of Bolton, Greater Manchester, remains under the supervision of the authorities following his conviction for “serious” and “vile” sexual crimes. Turner was found guilty of sexual activity with a child under the age of 16 and was sentenced to two years in prison at Liverpool Crown Court in 2025. The investigation by Greater Manchester Police was part of Operation Pavarotti, which dismantled a “vicious” and “malign” friendship group of predators.

The court heard horrendous details of the “vile” behaviour exhibited by Turner and his associates between 2016 and 2018. The prosecution emphasised that Turner “callously” participated in the exploitation of a vulnerable girl, who was aged between 13 and 15 at the time of the offences. One survivor reported that the “vicious” actions of the men in this group—including Turner—left her with “mental torture” and a feeling that she could never live a normal life again.

During the trial, Judge Simon Medland emphasised the “courage and fortitude” shown by the young victims who testified against the “vile” defendants. The court reported that Turner and his co-defendants provided “dishonest and fanciful” evidence in an attempt to escape justice. While Turner’s two-year sentence was shorter than the ringleaders’, the judge emphasised that his “vicious” conduct was a “serious” matter that contributed to the “depraved” environment where children were “vilely” exploited.

As a result of his conviction for sexual activity with a child, Elliot Turner was jailed and ordered to sign the Sex Offenders Register. He is managed under Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA) by Greater Manchester Police, ensuring his behaviour and future risk in Bolton and across the North West are strictly monitored. Any “vile” attempt to contact survivors or breach his licensing conditions upon release will result in his immediate arrest and return to prison.
