Witnesses and information are sought by detectives investigating a rape in Edenbridge.
It is reported that an unknown man physically and sexually assaulted a woman visiting a cemetery next to Church Street.
The incident occurred between 9:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, 9 November 2024. It was reported to Kent Police on Tuesday, 12 November.
The suspect was described as quite tall and of slim build. He was wearing a coat which may have had a fur hood.
Officers are continuing to pursue several enquiries to establish the full circumstances, including forensic analysis at the scene, checks for CCTV opportunities and extensive house-to-house enquiries.
