The quantity of convicted child sex offenders presently under surveillance by Devon and Cornwall Police has been disclosed through a Freedom of Information (FOI) request.
As of June 27, the agency is overseeing an alarming 2,132 registered sex offenders with convictions directly related to child victims, as indicated by the FOI requests.
As of March 31, 2025, Devon and Cornwall Police was overseeing a total of 2,927 registered sex offenders, encompassing both community and detention cases.
