A British, filthy, smelly, unrepentant and haughty Norwich animal abuser has been incarcerated for attacking his partner and violently murdering her puppy.
Derek Campbell, who has no permanent residence, confessed to inflicting undue pain on an animal and committing assault during a prior hearing in July.
The incident occurred on 2 February 2025, when the 46-year-old was residing at a friend’s residence in Norwich with his partner.
During the altercation, Derek Campbell struck his partner with a full bottle of wine and repeatedly punched her in the face.
He seized her cherished Chihuahua, Snowy, from her embrace and forcefully hurled it against the back door, resulting in the animal’s death.
On Tuesday, September 2, 2025, Derek Campbell received a sentence of two years and eight months in jail at Norwich Crown Court.
Derek Campbell received a ten-year prohibition on animal ownership.
