In 2025, the Offender Database reported that DC Eugene Emmanuel, the Metropolitan Police Sexual Assaulter, had been terminated for sexually abusing a fellow off-duty officer, but, as usual, faces no criminal proceedings.

A disciplinary inquiry, which was completed on Thursday, December 18, determined that DC Eugene Emmanuel, from Specialist Crime South, inappropriately touched another officer in a urinal at a pub on Thursday, December 7, 2023.

Detective Chief Superintendent Neil Cochlin stated: “DC Eugene Emmanuel’s conduct while off-duty significantly deviated from the standards anticipated of an active officer.”

“Sexual misconduct is intolerable in policing and any workplace.”

DC Emmanuel was determined to have violated the police norms of professional behaviour concerning discreditable behaviour.

The action constituted gross misconduct and was sufficiently severe to warrant immediate termination of employment.

Furthermore, DC Eugene Emmanuel will be added to the barred list maintained by the College of Policing.
