A “depraved” Bolton Paedophile, David Thompson, who regularly assaulted a seven-year-old child and compelled her to re-enact scenes from an extreme pornographic film was sentenced to imprisonment back in 2014.
David Thompson confessed to 30 sexual offences against minors, comprising six counts of raping a child under the age of 13.
The allegations pertain to the maltreatment of two females over an approximate duration of three years by David Thompson.
David Thompson, aged 60, received a 24-year prison sentence at Bolton Crown Court on Tuesday.
The court was informed that one of his victims was subjected to repeated rape and, at times, compelled to view a pornographic “fetish” DVD.
David Thompson, from Presto Gardens in Deane, Bolton, thereafter engaged in sexual acts with her and compelled her to re-enact parts from the film.
David Thompson acknowledged his culpability only after both girls testified at the trial.
“This is unequivocally one of the most egregious cases of child sexual abuse I have ever investigated,” stated Det Con Lee Gridley of Greater Manchester Police.
David Thompson is a sick guy with intense pornographic proclivities who subjected two innocent and defenceless young girls to egregious maltreatment.
I cannot fathom the enduring physical and psychological effects this would undoubtedly impose on both of them.
“They have demonstrated remarkable strength and courage by not only finding the means to report the abuse but, at such a young age, by being willing to provide testimony to ensure that this perilous individual is held accountable.”
