A paedophile teacher, David Noble, employed at a £13,000-per-annum private school, who was discovered in possession of child sexual abuse images, has been prohibited from teaching.

David Noble, a confirmed paedophile, was apprehended on school premises following the revelation of his heinous offences.

The 59-year-old, David Noble, had been employed at the Warwickshire school for children aged three to thirteen for over twenty years when he was apprehended by the police.

He subsequently departed from the court with a community order.

A misconduct tribunal from the Teaching Regulation Agency has determined that Noble violated teaching standards, constituting misconduct.

The sex offender, David Noble, was employed at Bilton Grange Preparatory School in Rugby beginning in September 1996.

He instructed in ICT and French while also serving as a lay chaplain.

The paedophile was apprehended at his domicile within the school premises, according to a report.

He possessed a total of 93 indecent photos of minors from March 30, 2017, to March 27, 2021.

David Noble received a community order on October 23, 2023, which includes 100 hours of unpaid labour, a 60-day program requirement, and a 40-day rehabilitation activity requirement.

He was additionally subjected to a five-year sexual harm prevention order and mandated to remain on the sex offenders register for five years.

David Noble did not ‘engage’ with the Teaching Regulation Agency, which meant that his hearing went ahead in his absence.

A report from decision maker David Oatley read: “The panel finds that David Noble’s conduct fell significantly short of the standards expected of the profession.

“The findings of misconduct are particularly serious as they include a finding of a relevant conviction for making indecent photographs or pseudo-photographs of a child.”

It added: “In my judgement, the lack of evidence of insight and remorse means that there is some risk of the repetition of this behaviour, and this puts at risk the future wellbeing of pupils.

“I have therefore given this element considerable weight in reaching my decision.”

David Noble was made subject to a prohibition order following the hearing in February.

This means he is now banned from teaching indefinitely and cannot teach in any school, sixth-form college, relevant youth accommodation, or children’s home in England.

Bilton Grange Preparatory School is ‘set in 90 acres of glorious Warwickshire countryside’, its website reads.

The school’s fees – including day and boarding pupils – range from £5,427 to £13,170.

A spokesperson for Bilton Grange School said: “We were shocked when we heard the allegations about David Noble and immediately suspended him from his role, dismissing him at the first opportunity.

“We welcome the Teaching Regulation Agency panel’s decision to bar him from the profession.”

It is understood that David Noble’s crimes did not take place at the school or involve anyone else in the community. A relief for all his victims.
