David Fitzgerald, a paedophile, has been convicted of many sexual offences after subjecting his victim to years of abuse.
David Fitzgerald, 51, has been convicted of 20 sexual offences, including rape and sexual assault, after a trial at Newcastle Crown Court.
David Fitzgerald, residing on Cullercoats Street, Newcastle, refuted the allegations of abuse that commenced during the victim’s childhood and persisted into her maturity.
He has been placed in detention and is scheduled for sentencing in September.
