In 2023, the Offender Database reported that Darren Halliday, the Cleethorpes Paedophile Child Molester, was sentenced to seven years in prison for committing ‘horrific’ sexual acts on a child.
Darren Halliday, 47, of Tiverton Street, entered a not guilty plea to six counts of sexual activity with a child but was found guilty of four by a jury at Grimsby Crown Court.
He was sentenced to seven years in prison, made subject to a restraining order and an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
The five-day trial concluded on Friday, 31 March, after Darren Halliday forced the victim and their family to endure the ordeal of a trial, reliving his horrific acts.
