Darren Brassington, the Carterton Paedophile, has been sentenced to incarceration for rape and additional sexual offences.
Darren Brassington, 47, of Queens Road, Carterton, was sentenced to 14 years’ jail, with an additional four years on licence, at Oxford Crown Court earlier today (29/10).
Darren Brassington was convicted of two counts of rape against a girl and two counts of assault by penetration after a seven-day trial at Oxford Crown Court, which completed on Thursday, 28 August.
During the trial, the court was informed about his horrific rape and sexual abuse of the victim, whom he had groomed and compelled through intimidation.
Darren Brassington was apprehended on Sunday, February 16, of this year, and subsequently charged on Tuesday, February 18, of the same year.
