He was incarcerated for child rape.

Official court documents indicated that Daniel Rochford and Jennifer Rochford’s residence was registered at a veterinary clinic located on New Lane.
However, their heinous offences pertained solely to their own animals, and it is understood that there is no longer a veterinarian on the premises.
While delivering the punishment, Judge Guy Mathieson stated, “You derived sexual pleasure and satisfaction from observing such repugnant images. However, that was not the most egregious aspect of your depravity.
Daniel Rochford also perpetrated rape and sexual abuse against a schoolgirl and exposed another minor to pornography that was ‘inappropriate for their age’.
He tormented, demeaned, and embarrassed the youngsters for his own gratification, subsequently compelling them to recount their experiences during a trial.
He was convicted of rape, engaging in sexual conduct in the presence of a child, inducing a child to observe a sexual act, sexual communication with a child, sexual assault, voyeurism, and inciting his wife to engage in sexual acts with a dog while recording it.
“You exhibit no remorse,” stated Judge Mathieson. “You assert that you have the right to act as you please towards any woman or girl in your life, violating, degrading, or exploiting them for your own sexual pleasure.”
He stated that Jennifer Rochford was “blinded by love” for her husband when she engaged in sexual acts with the dogs.
He stated: “The footage and commentary illustrate the extent of sexual gratification and pleasure you both obtained from these actions.” It is abhorrent.
He stated that Jennifer Rochford was engaging in the performance for her enjoyment and that of her husband. “You perceived it as an aspect of your relationship,” he said.
The judge remarked, “That is what he intended for you to do.” You cherished him and would undertake it. It required neither force, coercion, nor manipulation.
You exhibited no hesitation or resistance to engage.
You have forfeited any sense of decency and morality.

An eight-year extended licence sentence will succeed his incarceration, the maximum duration of monitoring permissible by a judge.
