A Brighton Paedophile, Daniel Ellett was sentenced to 16 years in prison for repeatedly raping and sexually abusing a boy and two young girls.

Up until 2020, Daniel Ellett, 35, of Brighton’s Bolney Road, mistreated his three victims over a number of years.

He knew all three of them, and they were all between the ages of six and thirteen when the offence was committed.

After an inquiry began in January 2021, Daniel Ellett was taken into custody as specialised officers assisted his victims.

Two counts of rape against a boy under the age of thirteen, two counts of non-penetrative sexual activity with a girl between the ages of thirteen and fifteen, and one count each of rape of a girl between the ages of thirteen and fifteen, penetrative sexual activity with a boy between the ages of thirteen and fifteen, inciting a girl to engage in sexual activity, indecent assault on a girl, and exposure were later brought against him.

On Wednesday, July 2, he was found guilty of all charges at Brighton Crown Court.

Daniel Ellett was given a 19-year sentence at Lewes Crown Court on Thursday, September 4, which included three years of extended licence and 16 years in prison.

In addition, Daniel Ellett received a restraining order against his victims, an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order, and a life registration as a sexual offender.
