The Newcastle Paedophile, Daniel Curtis, 40, sexually assaulted the girl at a location in Newcastle after initially persuading the victim to send a series of sexually explicit communications via social media.

Daniel Curtis’ misconduct was revealed following the discovery of mails exchanged between him and the victim.

In 2022, Daniel Curtis, residing at Hugh Gardens, Newcastle, was charged with many child sex offences.

In an effort to dodge justice, Daniel Curtis consistently failed to appear in court, having unbelievably NOT been remanded, resulting in him being sought by Northumbria Police.

Daniel Curtis was luckily found and arrested and remanded this time, after a trial at Newcastle Crown Court in May, and was convicted of seven counts of sexual activity with a minor.

On Friday, July 25, he returned to the same court where he received an eight-year prison sentence.

Daniel Curtis will be on the Sex Offenders’ Register for life and has been issued a lifelong Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO). A lifelong restraining order was also issued to safeguard the victim.
