A Featherstone Paedophile Child Molester, Christopher Rowbottom, installed curtains in his vehicle to sexually assault an 11-year-old girl he had systematically groomed.

Christopher Rowbottom, 35, received a 13-year prison sentence at Leeds Crown Court after the court revealed he connected with the youngster on TikTok and subsequently spoke with her on several platforms, including Snapchat, Discord, and Roblox.

The court was informed that he “interjected himself into every aspect of this young child’s life.”

The girl had been so influenced that she believed she was in a romantic connection with Christopher Rowbottom.

He made lascivious sexual propositions on his intentions towards her and referred to her as his “wife”.

The schoolgirl transmitted explicit images of herself to Christopher Rowbottom.

The father of two, Christopher Rowbottom, from Featherstone, West Yorkshire, purchased privacy curtains for his vehicle and travelled to Leicester on at least four occasions to meet the girl.

Christopher Rowbottom, a warehouse employee, went to a remote parking area and sexually assaulted the girl in the rear seats of his vehicle.

He was convicted during a trial of rape, sexual communication with a minor, two counts of meeting a kid after sexual grooming, digital penetration, and the creation of obscene photos of children.

Subsequent to his apprehension, Christopher Rowbottom refrained from responding to enquiries during a police interview.

His devices were seized and analysed where Prosecutor Christopher Bevan said Christopher Rowbottom’s searches on the internet “clearly showed an interest in children”.

He added that Christopher Rowbottom had a “desire to take the virginity of the child”.

Judge Tahir Khan KC told Christopher Rowbottom during sentencing that he “became besotted with her despite the fact she was only 11-years-old”.

“You referred to her as your wife and you took advantage of her immaturity, emotionally and sexually,” Khan said.

“You bombarded her with disturbing and highly-sexualised images.”

Khan said he had travelled “at least four times … to have sexual contact with her in a car park”.

“None of your history can explain, let along justify anything that you did,” the judge added.

Christopher Rowbottom has been added on the sex offender register for life.

He is also subject to a life-long sexual harm prevention order.
