Christopher Nind, the Felixstowe Paedophile, has received a suspended prison sentence for downloading thousands of obscene photos of minors.
Christopher Nind, 46, of Graham Road, Felixstowe, was sentenced at Ipswich Crown Court on November 4 after pleading guilty at a prior hearing to six counts of producing obscene pictures.
He received a 24-month suspended sentence, effective for a period of 24 months. He received a 35-day rehabilitation order, a mandate to complete 100 days of unpaid labour, and is registered as a sex offender for 10 years, along with a 10-year sexual harm prevention order.
On 6 December 2023, law enforcement officials visited the residence of Christopher Nind, who resides alone, and arrested him on suspicion of creating, obtaining, having, and disseminating immoral content. A search of Christopher Nind’s property led to the seizure of various electronic devices. Thirty electronic items, including hard drives and media cards, were retrieved and returned for digital forensic analysis.
The analysis identified 532 category A (the most severe) photos, 907 category B images, and 42,157 category C images. Officers recovered 274 Category A videos, 450 Category B films, and 234 Category C videos.
