A 26-year-old man, Christopher Lincoln, the Silverstone Paedophile, has been sentenced to over two years in prison following his conviction for sexual offences against two minors.
Christopher Lincoln, formerly of Kingsley Road, Silverstone, commenced the abuse of the girls during his adolescence, engaging in inappropriate touching and coercing them into sexual acts.
The abuse was revealed years later in 2020 when one of the girls reported it, prompting the other to come forward as well.
Christopher Lincoln faced 14 charges, including sexual assault of a minor under 13 and enticing a youngster to participate in sexual activity.
Following a jury’s conviction of the offences after a four-day trial at Northampton Crown Court in March, Christopher Lincoln returned to the same court on May 21, where he was sentenced to two years and two months of imprisonment.
He will serve 11 months in prison, followed by the remainder on parole, and will subsequently be subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order and have to register on the Sex Offenders’ Register for a duration of 10 years.
Lead investigator – Detective Constable James Wright said: “I would first of all like to thank the victims and the witnesses in this case for coming forward, supporting one another, and maintaining their strength and dignity in what has been a very long time to get to to this sentence.
“Without their concrete evidence, their support of each other, and the bravery in giving their evidence and confronting their abuser, Christopher Lincoln would be a free man.
“Christopher Lincoln knew exactly what he was doing when he abused his victims. Not only this, but he also maintained his innocence throughout the entire investigation and court process.
“Christopher Lincoln felt sorry for just one person, himself. Thankfully, the jury saw through him and his lies, found that he could not be believed, and found him guilty of every count that he faced.
“I hope that he will now reflect on what he has done and use the time he has in prison to consider just how much damage he has done to these young women. I fear however that he will continue to consider just himself.”
