A Bristol Paedophile, Christopher Brooks, has been sentenced to eight years in prison after being convicted of historical sexual offences against a minor.
Christopher Brooks, 74, of Bishopsworth, Bristol, was sentenced at Bristol Crown Court on Thursday, September 18.
On June 17, Christopher Brooks was convicted by a jury of two charges of indecent assault against a child, two counts of inciting a child to engage in gross indecency, three counts of producing an indecent image of a child, and one count of possessing an extreme pornographic image.
In addition to a jail term, Christopher Brooks will be subjected to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for a duration of 10 years following his victim’s commendable courage in providing testimony during a difficult inquiry that commenced four years prior.
