Christopher Beaugeard, The Limes Paedophile, exploited children over several decades and audaciously claimed that one of his schoolgirl victims had “led him on.”
The paedophile preyed upon three young girls across two counties, perpetrating his final offences as a senior citizen.
Upon the revelation of his transgressions, Christopher Beaugeard attempted suicide, subsequently informing the medical personnel who assisted him: “I have committed a grave error and I lament this.”
Christopher Beaugeard committed three offences over a span of 30 years, focussing on girls aged 14 and younger in the Sefton and Essex regions.
The 76-year-old resident of The Limes, Chelmsford, confessed to two charges of indecent assault against a child under 14 and five charges of sexual activity with a child under 13.
He was incarcerated for eight years. Merseyside Police stated that it lacks a mugshot of Christopher Beaugeard.
