The Offender Database reported that Charlie Clark, the New Brighton Paedophile Sex Offender, a 21-year-old man from New Brighton, has been incarcerated for producing and disseminating obscene photographs of children online.
On Thursday, November 20, Charlie Clark of Vaughan Road was sentenced to two years and four months at Liverpool Crown Court for eight counts of malicious communications, which involved transmitting offensive, indecent, obscene, or menacing material via a public communications network, creating an image of a child, violations of Section 2 of the UK’s Computer Misuse Act 1990, and three counts of possession of controlled substances, including ketamine and MDMA.
Charlie Clark received lifelong indefinite restraining orders against four of his victims, along with a 10-year sexual harm prevention order. He will be mandated to register as a sex offender for the subsequent ten years.
This pertains to an internet report from a victim of Charlie Clark, filed in September 2023, who found that photographs of herself had been uploaded on a website. The same day, a friend notified her that the photographs had been uploaded by Clark, who, when confronted on Instagram by the victim, acknowledged his culpability.
The victim alleged that Charlie Clark unlawfully accessed her Snapchat account and stole photographs from her private folder, subsequently uploading them online. He downloaded publicly accessible photographs from her social media pages, modified several of them, and disseminated them online, accompanied by disparaging remarks aimed at her and other women. Charlie Clark validated his activities through an Instagram direct message.
Charlie Clark deactivated his social media accounts, but material was effectively retrieved from cached sources, leading to his detention on suspicion of violating Section 2 of the Computer Misuse Act (CMA) and creating a pseudo-image of a child. An investigation of his residence led to an additional arrest on suspicion of possessing a prohibited substance.
Subsequent to his arrest, seven additional victims emerged, alleging that Charlie Clark had similarly shared their photographs online.
