The abhorrent crimes of an Arnold Paedophile child rapist, Carl Andrews, were revealed when authorities examined his phone.
Carl Andrews attracted the attention of law enforcement by posting lewd photographs of minors online.
When faced with this, Carl Andrews acknowledged possessing the photographs but refuted any further involvement.
Upon conducting a thorough examination of his gadgets, officers uncovered films of him engaging in the sexual abuse of minors.
The victims, a male and a female, are thought to have been specifically targeted by Carl Andrews in Nottinghamshire during 2022.
Police utilised the distinctive tattoos on Carl Andrews’ hands, evident in the films, to associate him with the crimes.
Over 1,400 indecent images and videos of youngsters were found on the sexual predator’s phone and other devices.
He was subsequently accused of several child sexual crimes.
This encompassed rape, solicitation to engage in sexual behaviour, assault by contact, and three charges of producing indecent photos of minors.
Confronted with the incriminating evidence, Carl Andrews chose to plead guilty to six distinct charges on 18 July of this year.
He appeared at Nottingham Crown Court for sentencing on Wednesday, September 3.
Carl Andrews, residing on Charles Street in Arnold, received an extended prison sentence of 13 years.
He was permanently placed on the sex offenders’ registry, subjected to a sexual harm prevention order, and issued a restraining order prohibiting any contact with his victims.
