The Offender Database reported that Carissa Jane Smith, a married substitute Missouri Pedophile teacher who compensated kids for sexual acts and provided them with drugs and alcohol, has been incarcerated.
Carissa Jane Smith, 30, received a 10-year prison sentence after being convicted on 19 counts of sexual offences.
Authorities report that the former substitute teacher compensated kids with $100 or more, either in cash or via CashApp, in exchange for sexual acts.
She is reportedly accused of providing minors with booze and marijuana in return for sexual favours.
In November of the previous year, she was apprehended and indicted on 19 charges, including rape, sodomy, child sex trafficking, and sexual contact and misbehaviour with a student.
Carissa Jane Smith admitted guilt to reduced charges this September.
Prior to her arrest, Smith served as a paraprofessional and a long-term substitute teacher in the Dixon School District, located approximately 130 miles southwest of St. Louis, in Missouri.
She is said to have engaged in sexual relations with a minimum of two students.
Court filings revealed further alarming allegations, with one student asserting that Carissa Jane Smith compelled him to ejaculate inside her.
When one of the victims claimed to possess a video of her engaging in oral sex, she purportedly “smashed” the student’s phone.
The former teacher’s husband allegedly threatened one of the children with a baseball bat after Carissa Jane Smith informed him that she was being extorted with a video of them doing marijuana.
A victim informed the authorities that the incident commenced in August 2023, during his middle school years.
The child stated that he met Carissa Jane Smith while she was substituting for his class, and she provided students with her Snapchat username, according to police documents obtained by NBC affiliate KYTV.
“Carissa Jane Smith began sending them pictures of her breasts and buttocks, along with her nude in the shower,” court documents stated.
Cops say she had sex with the students at her home and other locations, including gravel roads, multiple times over the course of a year.
She allegedly gave the students money, alcohol, and marijuana and told them to keep their mouths shut or they’d get in trouble.
In one incident, Carissa Jane Smith allegedly smoked marijuana with a student and her friend, a former school nurse for the school district.
The victim reported that Carissa Jane Smith then took him to McDonald’s because her husband was at home with their kids, court docs said.
In another alleged sexual encounter, a student asked Carissa Jane Smith to stop, but she refused – then gave him extra money after.
Investigators stated that the incidents occurred between August 2023 and September 2024.
Carissa Jane Smith worked as a long-term sub at Dixon Middle School during the 2022-2023 school year.
She was a paraprofessional at the district’s high school the following year.
She was hired as a long-term sub at the high school in July but resigned on August 30.
Carissa Jane Smith is no longer employed by the school district.
The former sub faces eight counts of statutory rape, one count of statutory sodomy, three counts of sexual contact with a student, two counts of sexual misconduct with a student, two counts of sexual trafficking of a child, two counts of hindering prosecution, and one count of patronising prostitution.
