Callum Green, the Hartlepool Sex Offender, from County Durham, has been convicted of public indecency for performing a sexual act on himself using a rocking horse and a tree branch in a public children’s playground.

Callum Green, aged 19, appeared at Teesside Magistrates’ Court for trial today (October 15) after entering a plea of not guilty to the common law offence of outraging public decency.

Callum Green executed the deed in Burn Valley Gardens, Hartlepool, on October 19, 2024.

The court was informed that he ‘exhibited indecent conduct’ while performing the sexual act, which involved a rocking horse and a branch from a nearby tree that had been placed into his body.

The adolescent was convicted during the trial and will be sentenced next month.

Callum Green will additionally be punished on one count of criminal property damage valued at less than £5,000, to which he entered a guilty plea earlier.

The charge states: “On or about 18 October 2024, in Hartlepool, without lawful justification, you caused damage to a children’s playground, the value of which is unknown, belonging to Hartlepool Council, with the intent to destroy or damage said property or with recklessness regarding the potential for such destruction or damage.”
