In 2018, the Offender Database reported that Bryan Grimes, the Leven Paedophile Child Rapist, a vile sex monster with no remorse who preyed on young children for more than 40 years, was facing life behind bars after a judge said he had used his victims for his “own deviant sexual needs”.
Bryan Grimes, 58, has been cautioned that he may spend the remainder of his life in prison following his conviction for the rape and sexual abuse of children as young as four years old.
A jury at the High Court in Livingston convicted Grimes of 10 sexual offences committed in Methil, Colinsburgh, Elie, Anstruther in Fife, and Cumnock, Ayrshire, from 1975 to 2017.
The charges comprised rape, attempted rape, two instances of sexual assault, one incident of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, and four counts of indecent and lascivious behaviour.
Bryan Grimes admitted in his testimony that he had kissed one of the underage girls on the face twice and had engaged in sexual touching.
He acknowledged making physical contact with another girl using his penis, but refuted the other accusations.
The jury viewed video recordings of poignant testimonies from the anguished and tearful victims of Bryan Grimes’ serial sexual assault, including his initial victim, who recounted that he was merely three years her senior when he commenced the abuse at a location in Methil in 1975.
She was approximately 12 to 13 years of age.
His second victim recounted the sexual assault she endured at locations in Methil and Colinsburgh from 1980 onwards, when she was between the ages of four and ten.
A primary schoolboy recounted being abused by Bryan Grimes from 1989, between the ages of five and nine.
He recounted how Bryan Grimes had molested him and compelled him to engage in a sexual act.

A paedophile who exploited youngsters as young as four over a span of 44 years has been sentenced to life imprisonment.
Bryan Grimes, 58, from Leven in Fife, was characterised in court documents as an “incorrigible, psychopathic sexual predator.”
